After deciding to stop working on my site last night with just one product available to download I can now announce that 3 more designs have been added to the line-up with more still in the works.
The first of the 3 designs I added is this little cross done in Blackwork. It's a small design, roughly the size of a coaster, and can be stitched either in backstitch or in alternating running stitch.
The design is ideal for those who want to try something new or just enjoy doing back stitch. Available to download for just 50p, why not give it a try?
This next design is another bookmark. stitched on the same Zweigart 5cm Aida band as the other bookmark, this one is 100 stitches long and contains only cross stitch and back stitch so is suitable for beginners who are confident in basic backstitch. A simple design that can be completed across an evening or 2 and given as a gift or even just used as a reminder every time you open your book that Jesus is the Light of the World.
The final design I uploaded today is a bit bigger and the first one I've published in the round. It's 83 stitches high and 83 stitches wide. This design is again ideal for beginners and young people or just those of us who want a quicker project from time to time. Stitched using variegated dmc threads on dmc iridescent 14 count Aida, it can be adjusted to fit in with whatever colours you have in your stash or the colours that may be enjoyed by the recipient if you're making it as a gift.
Over the coming days and weeks there will be more designs uploaded and available to purchase for download. Some of the designs that are one the way are generic card designs, another bookmark reminding us that Jesus is the vine and also, time willing, Christmas designs will be coming too.
Depending on varying factors there will be a new shop page added to the site - Good News Christian Resources - which will be the home of books and other items that will be sent out via the post. This shop page may not be here before the new year, but it is definitely coming. the majority of the books available will be secondhand so they'll be in limited supply but you could get a good deal if you're quick!
