Fellowship Crafts 2025 Outlook 🎨

I've been giving the website of Fellowship Crafts a lot of thought over the last few months. I've been thinking about all sorts of aspects of it as it really doesn't suit the way I set it up originally. Originally I was just going to be selling handmade cards and secondhand (and new items sold as secondhand) christian books. I have expanded from that and have ended up with more than just Christian books on offer and the items I create are no longer limited to handmade cards for various occasions. So what does this mean, going through 2025? I'll break down my plan below by category:

Products:

Over a long, gradual process I hope to get all the products that are on sale relabelled and more suitably titled webpages created, including, if all goes to plan, new sorting and categorisation options.

Devotional:

The devotional didnt seem to be a particularly popular thing I did so I ended up abandoning it. Instead of aiming to write it daily, I will just look at writing for the bigger church seasons - Lent, Easter, Advent and Christmas.

Facebook:

I will look to be more engaging with the FB page. I attempted for a month to do a daily drawing challenge, which, again, wasn't popular enough to do for more than a month. This year I am looking to try to get the FB Group, Fellowship Crafters, going and include weekly posts for people to share things they've been working on. This new group is private and has just been created while writing this post. The group rules are about kindness and encouraging eachother and the questions for joining are just about what crafts you enjoy and whether you will agree to the rules. You can share your passion for craeativity by sharing things created in any craft or art medium, purchased from any company anywhere in the world...but any links to encourage people to purchase products can only link to UK traders, preferably independent ones.

Website - General updates:

Beyond the updates above I will be reviewing the FAQs, I will be updating the postal services and will be looking to add a page of links to Trusted UK craft and independent christian bookshop traders (this will be providing me no commission as I will be doing this completely independently). This list could grow or shrink over time as new companies are made know to me or old ones become either out of business or fail to continue to provide a good service. There may be other updates to do on the site as well but what I have outlined is quite enough to keep me occupied for a while.

And Finally...

I still plan to continue creating handmade items and writing the various projects I have in the pipeline as time goes by. Also I will be reading some of the books I've still got put by to read before theyre uploaded for sale and attemoting to be more regularly active on both Facebook and the Facebook Group. I also have an instagram account bt generally dont use this but if it becomes popular I will increase posting there too.
