An Unusual Post...

Writer's picture: Tamsyn Moreton-TraylerTamsyn Moreton-Trayler

Normally I post updates here about products I'm selling on the site or changes to contact information etc but this time I have decided that I am going to put up something a bit different.

I am raising funds for Diabetes UK by taking part in the million step challenge. This challenge starts on Friday 1st July and ends on 30th September. I don't know may people so I am going to be cheeky and put the link for the sponsorship page here on my business page. Please don't feel obliged to sponsor me, but I would welcome any sponsorship that you may feel able to give.

Diabetes runs in my family. My mum, who died aged just 49 in 2009, had Type 1 Diabetes since she was 11 and her mother, my late grandmother, who outlived my mum, developed Type 2 Diabetes in old age. I am very aware that this job - monitoring this site, developing designs that can take either months or moments to develop and trying to learn some coding to try to get more out of the building and maintaining of this site in the future - is a very sedentary thing and I really need to get moving. The great thing with running this site is I can choose when I work so getting the steps in should, in theory, not be too difficult.

Please click the picture to be transferred to my sponsorship page (opens in a new tab)...

For the more normal side of things, I just want to pop a quick reminder that I am now on WhatsApp using number 07365024572 and I'm also on Instagram, Facebook and can be contacted via email or the contact form on the website.

New products should be coming soon so watch this space. Once a few things are sorted out I need to complete first then I'm looking at offering some small kits of some of the cross stitch designs and adding a few more books to the secondhand book page.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for your custom and for those who sponsor me, I thank you too.
